About ShredTheCity

Who We Are

ShredTheCity is a San Francisco-based nonprofit that empowers youth through skateboarding, art, and STEM innovation. Our mission is simple: shredding boundaries, building community, and igniting innovation.

Mission & Vision

ShredTheCity empowers the next generation of creators by fusing high-energy movement with STEM-driven discovery. We provide parallel pathways for youth to master BigWheelz, mini remote-control trucks, and skateboarding. This approach fosters a unique environment where physical coordination meets technical exploration.

Strategic Execution

Our curriculum bridges the gap between kinetic play and the science of motion through the KorQy Tribid Shreddeck and collaborative art workshops. These structured experiences nurture the resilience and creative confidence youth need to navigate their world.

Our Core Programs

We create parallel educational pathways that capture the interest of kids and youth. Participants build physical coordination and technical exploration skills by mastering:

  • BigWheelz racing and mechanics.
  • Mini Remote-Control Trucks engineering.
  • Skateboarding progression and physics.

Kinetic Play Meets Academic STEM

Our interactive experiences bridge the gap between active play and the science of motion at dynamic community activations. Through our custom KorQy Tribid Shreddeck and collaborative art workshops, students explore the real-world physics of kinetic movement. This hands-on academic approach nurtures the resilience and creative confidence youth need to navigate their world.

Join Our Next Activation

We invite parents and their children to be part of these community activities and experience our pop-up activations firsthand. Donors can invest in these mobile experiences to fuel the next generation of creative innovators.
