A multi-disciplinary artist and creator of the Cool Crocs brand, Joseph specializes in character design and cross-platform world-building. He helps youth translate their experiences on the deck into original creative stories that live within our broader “Cosmic” universe.

Joseph Penner (JP / JPZ) is a Los Angeles–based multi-disciplinary artist, comedian, storyteller, and creative entrepreneur. He is the creator of the cartoon series Cool Crocs and Ghost Bus Kids, the satirical comedy show Real News Now Tonight, and the children’s book Cranky Franky the Selfish Shellfish. Through building the Cool Crocs brand, he has expanded his ideas into toys, video games, card games, merchandise, and clothing—developing original characters and stories into cross-platform creative worlds. He performs stand-up regularly around LA.
